Decay properties of Roper resonance in the holographic QCD

We investigate the one pion decay of Roper resonance ${N}^{*}(1440)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}N\ensuremath{\pi}$ in Sakai-Sugimoto model holographic QCD. The nucleon and emerge as ground first excited states collective radial motion instanton four dimensional space with extra dimension. It is found that ratio $\ensuremath{\pi}N{N}^{*}$ $\ensuremath{\pi}NN$ couplings, hence ${g}_{A}^{N{N}^{*}}$ ${g}_{A}^{NN}$, well reproduced comparison experimental data. mechanism this result due to nature excitations, which very different from single particle constituent quark model. Our results are obtained large-${N}_{c}$ large $\ensuremath{\lambda}$ ('t Hooft coupling) limit useful test how baryon resonances share what expected these limits.

We discuss our results on scalar glueball decay in the top-down holographic Witten-SakaiSugimoto model for low-energy QCD and compare with available experimental data, which appear to disfavor the glueball candidate f0(1500) but seem to be perfectly consistent with interpreting f0(1710) as a nearly unmixed glueball. The holographic model moreover makes definite predictions for future experiments.
